This English version is the primary reference for Google Play. The same rules apply in German and in local adaptations (Bosnian, Croatian, Serbian).
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains what information Super Keto AI (“the app”, “we”) collects, how it is used, and which third-party services are needed for the app to work. Super Keto AI is a personal keto meal-planning assistant (meals, water, fasting, workouts, progress, and AI coaching).
The Google Play release is free: there are no required subscriptions and no paywall. We monetize with Google AdMob ads (for example banners and rewarded ads for AI credits). Push notifications use Firebase (FCM). AI features (coach, meal estimate from a photo or text, short tips) use Google AI models (Gemini). We do not use your photos or health data for advertising.

2. Data we collect
2.1 Account
- Name, email address, hashed password (email signup), and the app language you choose (English, German, Bosnian, Croatian, or Serbian).
- If you sign in with Google, Google sends us your email and name to create or open the account.
- If you sign in with Apple on iPhone, Apple sends us your email and, only the first time, your name. Apple may hide your real email and give a private relay address.
2.2 Health-related data you enter sensitive
- Gender, age, height, weight, goal, activity level, dietary preferences, allergies, and optional health conditions.
- Food log (meal name and macros), water intake, fasting, workouts, weight entries, meal plans, shopping lists, and saved recipes.
- Messages you send to the AI coach (kept so the conversation has context).
2.3 Photos
- Food photos: if you use AI meal estimate from a photo, the image is sent to our servers and then to Google AI models (Gemini), together with your meal description and a short profile/diary context. We do not keep food photos in an account gallery; if you save the meal, we store the result (name and nutrition), not the image itself.
- Progress / before-after photos: these stay only on your phone. They are not uploaded to our servers and are not sent to Google or any other third party. Only the weight number and notes you enter go to the server.
2.4 Technical and ads
- Push notification token if you enable notifications (Firebase FCM and Expo).
- Advertising ID / device identifier for Google AdMob ads, with consent where the law requires it (for example EEA/UK).
3. How we use data
- To calculate keto targets and create personalized meal plans and shopping lists.
- To show progress, daily logs, and AI coach suggestions.
- To process food text, food photos, and coach messages through Google AI models (Gemini).
- To show ads (AdMob) so the app can stay free, including rewarded ads for AI credits.
- To send optional notifications or email messages.
- To keep the app secure and improve the user experience.
We do not use your photos or health data for advertising. We do not sell personal data.
4. Third parties
We only share data with services required to run the app:
- Google AI (Gemini) for the AI coach, food/photo analysis, and short tips.
- MongoDB Atlas to store account data (not progress photos).
- Resend for email messages.
- Expo and Firebase (Google) for push notifications (device token only).
- Google AdMob for ads (device advertising ID; never food photos or health data).
- Google Sign-In: email and name, only if you choose that sign-in method.
- Sign in with Apple on iPhone: email and name, only if you choose that sign-in method. Your real email may be hidden.
Paid subscriptions and RevenueCat are not active. The app stays free; revenue comes from ads, not subscriptions. Sign in with Apple works on iPhone. Google ads policy: policies.google.com/technologies/ads. Google privacy: policies.google.com/privacy.
5. Your rights (EEA/UK and California)
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data, or to object to certain processing. You can delete your account in the app under Profile → Delete account, or email tarikaistudio@gmail.com.
California (CCPA/CPRA): we do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising of your health or food data. You may request access or deletion at the email above. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
6. Account deletion
Profile → Delete account removes your profile, logs, meal plans, AI messages, and related account data from our servers. Progress photos are not on the server; when you delete the account we also try to remove those local photos from the device.
7. Children
The app is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
